Nails and rings
The yard is a row of nails, not a lounge with a screen.
Suite 11 still has the nail plank from a marine millwright who left in 2015. Maren kept the plank. The sofas never arrived.
What the nails actually hold
Brass rings, clipboards with salt stains, a shift bell Boce rings when a token is honest, and a tray of Greenbrier dirt we keep wet on purpose. Cedar Rd traffic is hospital volume most weeks and a storm rumor when the Dismal breathes. The yard still opens Monday through Saturday noon.
Sunday the nails stay empty. Maren oils rings that day and will not pretend a hurried chit is a berth.
- Sequence first, shape later
- Salt named before loft is named
- A return is a token handed back, not a discount
- Wing drills stay on the barge
